Coloring Book is Finished!

Finally, after much work, the coloring book is finished and ready for selling!

The books have been professionally printed on double-sided pages of cardstock, so it's good for you heavy colorers out there. The cover is printed in color, and is covered with a clear plastic protector. The back is a nice black board to keep it from getting all bent out of shape. The binding are black spirals, for easy page-flipping action. These books are really great quality! All pictures are original drawings inspired by photos provided by Haflinger owners. A lot of love, care, and time has gone into these books, and they would make a great Christmas present for any Haflinger lover.

Here's a couple pictures:

Coloring Book-it's coming down.

So, I am finished with the actual coloring book pages now! I just need to make the front and back covers, and finish tracking people down so I can recognize them on a thank you sort of page.
I'm hoping to get to Staples sometime this week and get one book printed out. Then I will know how to price everything. I will start taking orders in the next two weeks.

I can see the end of the road for this, and I am super excited to have a finished product!!

Coloring Book Preview

Here is a preview of my Haflinger coloring book. There are 6 images here, and so far I have about 25. The 6 here are the ones I have scanned into the computer, cleaned up, and resized. I threw them all on one picture for convenience. Just wanted to show everyone that I am actually getting some work done on it!

Update on Coloring Book

Just wanted to give a little update on my Haflinger coloring book.
I have 22 drawings done now (I think I want 32, at least). So I am getting there. After that, I have to scan them all, and clean them up and get them ready to print and copy. Then I will put the books together, and voila! They'll be ready.
That is all =)
Also I will try to take photos of some of my paintings and put them up ASAP.

First Post: A Preview of What is to Come

Hello!
This is going to (hopefully) be an ongoing art blog of art I make both in my classes, and in my spare time.
Right now, in my free time, I am working on putting together a coloring book of Haflinger horses. It's quite fun, and I'm hoping to have it done in time for Christmas!
For now, I will just post a couple of my favorite drawings, just for fun =)
Look forward to: still life oil paintings, black and white photography, and coloring book pages!
